As an organization we have been constantly monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation. Over the past several days, this event has morphed into a public health crisis that is redefining every aspect of American life. We are in unchartered waters, as both a company and a nation, but we still strive to approach every day aiming to maintain the integrity of our business and do what is best for our Team Members, Members and our surrounding communities. With that in mind, Westboro Tennis & Swim Club, along with all other BSC clubs, closed for the time being last night at 8:00pm local time. Please understand that this is a temporary, but critical measure for us to take. To some, this may seem like a drastic measure and we apologize for the lack of prior notice. At this point though, our response to this virus is about more than just our Members and Team Members. This is about doing our part to support our country and doing what is best for the good of the general public in every community we serve. We are currently in the middle of something historic, an event that will be talked about decades from now. There are many things outside of our control at this moment, but one thing that we have complete control over is our response to this issue. We can decide how we carry ourselves, how we treat one another, and whether or not we come together for the greater good of humanity. And today, we choose humanity. At this moment, the health of our nation is the top priority, and we will lock arms with many other industries around us and do our part to try and keep people safe. Updates will follow. If you are registered for a program (tennis clinic, swim lessons, contract time,) that will be sorted out when the club reopens.
Sincerely, The Westboro Tennis & Swim Club
