November Fitness Challenge |
This month we are challenging members to complete 830 burpees to help raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.Members are already racking up burpees on our tally in UGX! We have full faith that everyone will reach 830 or more!
We ask that everyone participating in the Burpee Challenege make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, as an entry dontation, and we ask others to support/sponsor participants with a donation of their own. Keyshla is a new Personal Trainer at WTSC. She began in the education field, then traveled into the healthcare field. While working in healthcare, she learned that exercise can improve one's quality of life in every single age group, inspiring her to help others find ways to exercise so that they can improve their lifestyle. This drove a new passion for helping others through a fitness career. If you are looking to make a change in your health, fitness and/or lifestyle, Keyshla is ready to help you on your journey! Gillian's fitness journey started with playing sports as a child, then transitioned to running and training for marathons in college. She later discovered a love for group fitness classes and weight lifting and now holds a personal trainer certification. With a nursing background, she believes fitness is crucial for maintaining a healthy, pain-free body and has shifted her career towards preventative healthcare. Sam is one of our new trainers here at WTSC. He graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with a focus in Sports Performance from Springfield College, where he was also a member of the varsity wrestling team and club rugby team. Sam has had the privilege of working with athletes of all ages from peewee to college. Sam believes that everyone has an athlete inside of them, and wants to help them reach their goals, whether it's making the varsity team or living a healthier life.
