Growing up in Hopkinton, Greg began his tennis career right here at WTSC, as a youngster in our summer tennis camp programs. In high school he was a 4-year member of the Men’s Varsity team; was first-singles his last 2 years; and team captain his senior year. He earned the Team MVP, Team Iron Man, Tri-Valley League All-Star and MetroWest Daily News First Team awards. He spent two summers running the Hockomock Valley YMCA tennis programs and was selected to participate in the TENACITY program as a Tennis Instructor. This community service program provided a combination of reading and tennis instruction to inner-city youth in Boston and Worcester. Greg has been a tennis instructor for over 10 years. In 2015, Greg moved to Idaho to attend North Idaho College. He became a Tennis Pro at a local club, where he helped the Tennis Director build a vibrant and fast-growing tennis program. In 2020 he earned his USPTA Certification as a Tennis Instructor. Greg moved back home to Massachusetts in August, 2022 to take a position at WTSC as an Asst. Pro. He is thrilled to be back at what he calls his original “tennis home”. He loves imparting his technical prowess to his students and also ensures that they have fun while learning. He teaches his clients not only the “what” and “how,” but also the “why.”
